Meet our new Project Sales Manager - Kaylene McTernan
Meet Kaylene McTernan
We recently had a chat with Kaylene McTernan who is the new Project Sales Manager at Frasers Landing.
Congratulations on your new role Kaylene, and welcome to Frasers Property Australia!
Why did you join Frasers Property?
I was attracted by Frasers Property’s respect for both their staff and customers, and their reputation for having a good culture. I’ve only been with them for a month, but those qualities are already really evident. I also wanted to be involved in Frasers Landing as it is a beautiful estate which I knew I’d be proud to talk to potential new residents about.
What experience do you bring to your role?
A lot! I’ve been working in the property and land industry for over two decades, with strong success in real estate sales. 13 years ago I started specialising in land, which is where my true passion lies.
What do you like best about your job?
Helping people fulfil their property buying dream. It is quite unique to build something from new, and I enjoy every facet of matching the perfect block of land with the right home design and vice versa. I like helping to make the whole buying process easy and seeing people really delighted with the choices they make.
What do you do when you’re not working?
Another labour of love. I have two children and a hobby farm which keeps me active! The hobby farm is on five acres and we have sheep, ducks, chickens, a dog, silver perch in our dams and koi in ponds. This is my happy place, and I think one of the reasons I relate to the lifestyle options offered at Frasers Landing. There’s a similar respect for the environment and community spirit.
What else makes Frasers Landing special?
It's situated right on the Serpentine River, and the beautiful surrounding natural environment. The estate has a 12ha conservation area with big trees, wildflowers, and incredible birdlife including an Osprey’s nest which is being carefully protected. I’m proud that Frasers Property is very committed to honouring conservation efforts and minimizing impact so all can live in harmony.
What is your most favourite thing about Frasers Landing?
Honestly, I love so much of it. However it’s the sense of community that really sets this estate apart. There’s a foreshore children’s playground, and a Community Centre with yoga and art classes and other workshops. And there’s something extra special about the freshwater lagoon. It is not only stunning and a safe habitat for fish and birdlife, it is also a place where people come together. This is where families and friends can simply enjoy each other’s company while picnicing on the grassed areas, dangling feet off the jetty, or paddling a kayak. Its where you get a real feel for what it is to belong.
What are the benefits of Frasers Landing’s location?
Being only five or so minutes from Mandurah means residents are really close to lots of shopping, sporting, health and education choices. Mandurah offers every sort of amenity and there’s the harbour precinct with the entertainment buzz people might want. It’s quite surprising that the natural haven that is Frasers Landing is so close to all that.
Do you have a go-to place in the area?
Nourishing the Soul Café on Darwin Terrace not far from Frasers Landing. They have healthy and delicious breakfasts and lunches. It has a lovely view over the water too so it’s also nice to enjoy a morning or afternoon tea while watching dolphins go by.

What’s your insider’s tip on what to buy at Frasers Landing right now?
Lot 385 in Stage 2. It’s in the Rivers Edge precinct and next to the lagoon. Being a rear loading 225m2 block it’s perfect for people who want to streamline their lives without compromising location, and for those with a ‘lock ‘n’ leave’ lifestyle (not that you’d ever want to leave!).
