Shell Cove Construction Update - Ancora Apartments

Welcome to the final construction update of 2023!​

We’re pleased to keep you informed about how the project is progressing, give you insights into the construction process and ensure you’re up to date with the development of your new community.

Building B & C

With the scaffold now removed from Buildings B & C, the waterproofing preparations of the external planter boxes are underway. The remaining balustrades, timber-look cladding and louvres will be completed in the coming weeks.

The interiors are nearing completion for Building B with a builders clean due to start in early December to allow for the commencement of our first quality assurance inspections.

Building C is in a similar position with most of the works completed with the outstanding joinery items being prioritised. The feature timber ceiling installation has commenced in the lobby creating a wow-factor upon entry.

The remaining bronze roof parapet cladding installation is due to start and is targeted for completion by Christmas following supply issues with the curved corner pieces.

Building A

The first kitchens are being installed to level 1 and flooring is underway to many apartments.​

Wet area tiling will continue in Building A up until Christmas, while balustrades and external timber-look cladding installation continues.​

The scaffold will remain in place until Christmas and will be targeted for removal early in 2024.

Basement and External Works

The basement lobbies are progressing with tiling & feature ceilings due to be installed shortly.​

The building permanent power was energised in November, allowing initial commissioning tests to commence.

The pool water test has been successfully completed with further waterproofing and tiling due to start very soon.

The focus over the coming weeks continues to be progressing the large quantity of ground floor planter beds and landscaping. Waterproofing is underway and preparations of the external concrete face.

Settlement Update:​

Settlements are anticipated to commence from March 2024 with a staged approach commencing with Buildings B & C followed by Building A.

The next construction update will be sent to you in the new year in February, 2024.​
