Real estate and development business, T.M. Burke Pty Ltd, was incorporated.
The Noosa coastline development
T.M Burke Pty Ltd begin it's involvement in the Noosa coastline in 1927.
The Great Depression
The 1930s rocked the industry, however the company survived, setting up branches around the world.
Handing over
Thomas Michael Burke hands over day-to-day management of the business to his sons, staying on as Chairman of Directors.
The Melville Golf Course
T.M Burke Pty Ltd begin development of the Melville Golf Course located halfway between Perth and Fremantle.
L.J. Hooker
T.M Burke Pty Ltd merged with Land and Housing Division of the L.J. Hooker Investment Corporation Ltd.
Farmland acquisition
The Pastoral Division of the L. J. Hooker Investment Corporation Ltd takes over 128,000 acres of sheep and cattle land from William L. Buckland and Associated Companies.
Hooker Projects
The Pastoral Division of the L. J. Hooker Investment Corporation Ltd takes over 128,000 acres of sheep and cattle land from William L. Buckland and Associated Companies.
Warringah Mall
The first project by Hooker, completion of the iconic Warringah Mall development in Sydney's north.
Hooker Corporation
In 1968 L.J. Hooker Investment Corporation becomes Hooker Corporation Ltd.
Australia's largest home developer
L.J. Hooker residential and commercial divisions are the largest sales and management agents and the largest home developers in Australia.

Listing as a public company enabled Australand to increase its activity in the apartment development sector, and to establish a Commercial and Industrial division.

Australand and JV parter, CapitalLand, acquires Balmain Shores - a major residential and commercial project
Central, Sydney
Australand announces the purchase of a 99 year development lease over Railway Square, Central (NSW).

Development of residential, commercial and industrial expands rapidly across four states.
The Regency, Chatswood
The Regency apartments project in Chatswood, NSW is completed and sold out .
Rhodes Corporate Park
The first building in Rhodes Corporate Park building was completed, and became Australand's new head office.
Westlake, Sandringham
Australand's multi-staged development Westlake in Sandringham Brisbane nears completion.
Lidcombe Hospital acquired
Australand successfully acquires 44-ha former Lidcombe Hospital site from NSW Government.
Point Cook acquisition
Acquisition of Point Cook site in Melbourne, involving the development of over 1,500 residential lots.
Freshwater Place acquisition
Australand enters into agreement with Australia Post to acquire Freshwater Place in Melbourne's Southbank.
2006 Commonwealth Games
Australand and Citta Property Group win rights to develop the Athlete's Village for 2006 Commonwealth Games
Discovery Point, NSW
Selected to develop 'Interciti' project with Landcom - a development now well known in Sydney, Discovery Point.
S&P ASX 200 Index
Company Ordinary Shares admitted to Australian Stock Exchange's S&P ASX 200 Index.
Stapling of Australand Property Trust
Stapling of Australand Property Trust to become Australand Property Group.

In 2005 we established our foundation to coordinate the company’s philanthropic and community investments.
Walker Corporation acquired
Australand acquires Walker Corporation, creating one of Australia's largest diversified property groups.
King Street Wharf

Acquisition of Point Cook site in Melbourne, involving the development of over 1,500 residential lots.
Freshwater Place acquisition
Australand enters into agreement with Australia Post to acquire Freshwater Place in Melbourne's Southbank.
2006 Commonwealth Games
