Shell Cove Construction Update - Ancora Apartments

17 June 2024
Building B & C

The first round of Frasers Property Quality Assurance inspections, commonly known as "QA", began in late May for the ground floor apartments of Building B. QA Inspections are now at Level 2 in Building B, and Ground Floor in Building C. QA inspections mark the completion of all internal work within these apartments, with only minor incomplete works and touch-ups left to address. Commencing QA is the first step in our meticulous process to ensure the apartments are delivered to a high-quality standard.

Frasers Property Quality Assurance inspections will continue through the upper floors of Building B and then move to Building C in the coming weeks.

While the apartment interiors are nearing completion, common areas such as corridors, lift lobbies, and basement plant rooms are in their final stages, including the final coat of paint and flooring transitions.

Building A

In Building A, joinery has been installed on levels 1 and 2, with level 3 scheduled to receive its delivery in the first week of June. Stone installations for these levels are closely following, with levels 1 and 2 measured and scheduled for installation during the first two weeks of June. Living room timber and tiling are complete except for the ground floor, which is expected to be finished in the coming weeks.

External Works

Externally, paving and mass planting around Buildings B and C are approximately 90% complete, including most of the ground floor balcony fencing. Along the wetlands elevation, we have begun constructing the sandstone block retaining wall, which will create a seamless transition between the buildings and the wetlands footpath. The use of sandstone integrates this space with the materials used throughout the area.

The dismantling of the scaffolding around Building A commenced at the end of May, and is expected to be fully completed within 2-3 weeks. This is a significant milestone for the project as it allows for the waterproofing and paving of the ground floor balconies, as well as the commencement of landscaping, stairs, and pavements.
