End of Year Residents Celebration
Ed.Square residents celebrated the end of 2022 with a big bang.
It was an afternoon of fun in the sun when families, children, and residents of all ages came along on Saturday, 10th December 2022 to celebrate the end of the year in our proudly and intricately designed Gratwick and Alliot Mews.
It was the residents first street party in front of their doorsteps where they smiled, said ‘hi” to one another, mingled with their neighbours, enjoyed lunch together, and children played together.
The day consisted of roving jazz music, giant bubble blowing, a circus workshop, face painting, balloon twisting, a coffee van and gelato cart.
Long lunch tables looked and felt intimate, and residents got to know each other while enjoying delicious wraps and sandwiches.
Over 200 people joined their neighbours where some residents volunteered to help, some played live music, and some started to make plans for the next street party already!
The scene was nostalgic and satisfying to see that we were able to build communities where residents feel they belong and build it together.
