Welcome to your first construction update!
We’re excited to bring you the very first construction update for The Peninsula at The Waterfront, Shell Cove. Each month you will receive an update on how works are progressing and ensure you’re up to date with the development of your new community.
The stormwater network is nearing completion, which will mark a significant milestone in ensuring the overall infrastructures functionality. The roads are taking shape, with the installation of kerb and gutter progressing well.
Exciting progress has been made as the earthworks and set out for the roundabout on Brigantine Drive have commenced. This phase is a crucial preparation for the upcoming excavation work. The roundabout will enhance traffic flow and accessibility within the neighbourhood.
We are excited to also share that the electrical servicing works are now underway, and connections to the existing infrastructure within Brigantine Drive are being established. This marks a significant step towards providing essential utilities to the area and ensuring seamless integration with the surrounding community.
The civil contractor is in the final stages of completing the intricate sandstone retaining walls that define the boundaries of the subdivision area from the Marina Foreshore. These walls not only serve as functional structures but also contribute to the aesthetic appeal of the development.
Excellent progress has been made with excavation and demolition works within the Shellharbour South Beach carpark. Additionally, preparations are being made for footpath connections that will enable pedestrian movement between the subdivision and the vibrant Shellharbour Village.
We anticipate that settlement will take place in late Quarter 1 of 2024.
