Hamilton Reach new social club is thriving
The Social Get-Together group launched earlier this year has already attracted 75 members from our community, who actively discuss shared interests and plan a variety of get-togethers.
Championed by residents Leilani Stabe and Susan Marquet, this initiative is open to anyone in the Hamilton Reach community. Whether you want to invite others to join you for an outing or join in on someone else's plans, this group is for you. It was created to help residents, especially those with strict work schedules, connect meaningfully, as many community initiatives occur during weekday mornings. The group has no fixed schedule and is driven by the ideas and interests of its members. It's all about organizing fun, casual events and outings for everyone to enjoy. While there are no fees to join the Facebook group, everyone is responsible for covering their participation costs for chosen events and activities.
So far, our residents have enjoyed a variety of activities, including a delightful lunch at Portside Social and a lively walking group for those in their 30s. The excitement continues to build, with recent discussions about attending enchanting candlelight concerts and securing group discounts for the popular musical, Sister Act!
