Christmas Charity Drive
Bring a little bit of joy to children whose lives have been affected by domestic and family violence.
Established in 2015, RizeUp Australia is a not-for-profit charity which supports the many families affected by domestic and family violence. They provide emergency funds and furnishings to help families relocate to new accommodation and make a fresh start. The charity also helps impacted children in their healing process and to settle into a new school.
Hamilton Reach has proudly partnered with RizeUp to collect gifts for children and teens this Christmas.
The gifts will be assembled by RizeUp for mothers to 'shop'. By doing this, they are empowered to make choices they might never have had before, as well as providing them with an opportunity to be directly involved in creating joy and bonding with their children.
Bring a little bit of joy to those in need and pop a gift underneath one of the Christmas trees found at the donation locations below. Please note RizeUp are collecting new and unwrapped gifts for boys and girls aged 0-17.
Donation period: November 1 to November 30

River Room Cafe - 285 MacArthur Ave, Hamilton (Open daily 7am to 3pm)
