Sand Sculpting Workshop
Sand sculpture workshop coming to Hamilton Reach this month
You're invited to join us riverside at Northshore Beach for a morning of sand sculpting fun and live music.
Work alongside professional sand sculptor, Peter Papamanolis and contribute to the creation of a masterpiece, right here at Hamilton Reach. You can also pick up some tools and create your very own work of art at one of the workshop stations, or sit back and watch the magnificent sand sculpture come to life.
Peter Papamanolis is a professional sand sculptor from Australia's leading Sand Sculpting company, Sandstorm Events. Father of four and jewellery craftsman, Peter turned his sand sculpting journey from a relaxing past time to working with tonnes of sand when he participated in "Myths and Legends" at Rye Beach in 2007 and presented a two tonne sculpture at the Australian Sand Sculpting Championship at Surfers Paradise in 2013.
Enjoy a relaxed riverside vibe with the acoustic sounds of ground-breaking Gold Coast artist, Majelen. Majelen's music is strongly influenced by jazz and blues, as well as the many nations and cultures around the world that she has seen, experienced and grown to love over the past few years. You can find out more about Mejelen here.
