Brisbane – 26 October 2017 – Frasers Property Australia has reached a major milestone on the latest instalment of its $700 million Hamilton Reach community with the ‘topping out’ of construction on the Riverlight East apartment building.

Building contractor Watpac has completed the 11th and final level of the building which will house 155 luxury apartments.

With the building structure phase finished, Watpac will turn its attention to the façade and interior fit-out, with completion scheduled for the third quarter of 2018.

The building is one of two in the Riverlight offering, which will have a total of 240 apartments and be set amid lush riverside parkland overlooking the Brisbane River and Royal Queensland Golf Club.

Cameron Leggatt, General Manager Residential Queensland for Frasers Property said he was delighted to see Riverlight East taking shape as the latest offering at the emerging Hamilton Reach community.

“We are very proud to be delivering yet another stage of Hamilton Reach and giving even more people the opportunity to enjoy a vibrant riverfront lifestyle here in the Northshore Hamilton precinct,” Mr Leggatt said.

“As expected, Watpac is progressing the first Riverlight building on schedule and we look forward to welcoming the first residents next year.”
Riverlight East consists of one, two and three-bedroom luxury apartments and penthouses. Remaining apartments are priced from $462,500 for a two bedroom apartment and up to $1.795 million for a three bedroom, three bathroom penthouse.

Apartments feature a high standard of finish with Bosch oven, cooktop and dishwasher, reconstituted stone benchtops and splashback in the kitchen, split-system air conditioning and ceramic floor tiles to wet areas.

The three-bedroom penthouses feature Miele kitchen appliances, 2-pak kitchen cabinetry with a feature laminate and ducted air conditioning.

All residences have gas hot water systems, low energy downlights throughout and a green switch allowing all lighting to be turned off at one point.

Residents of Riverlight will enjoy a superior lifestyle with recreational facilities including more than 1700sqm of landscaped gardens, a 20 metre Olympic-edge lap pool with sun deck, barbecue retreat and a fully equipped gymnasium.

An exclusive private dining room located near the pool will give Riverlight residents and their guests the opportunity to dine in comfort, or to reserve the space for private functions.

Riverlight will also have a residents-only boathouse, offering a chance to explore the Brisbane River and Northshore Beach on kayaks exclusively available for use by residents.
