Riverfront Christmas Dinner
Riverfront Christmas Dinner - a heartfelt celebration of community.
What a truly special evening we had at our Annual Long Table Christmas Dinner! It was wonderful to see so many residents come together as a community and celebrate the festive season in such a warm and joyful setting.
This year, we partnered with Josie from RIVA Kitchen and their talented chef, Simon, who prepared a delicious traditional Christmas buffet that was enjoyed by all. It was heart-warming to see so many residents chatting, laughing, and sharing stories over dinner by the river. A huge thank you to the chef and café team for making this event such a success!
In addition to the wonderful meal, we had some fantastic activities to enjoy. Our talented residents took part in a watercolour card-making session led by Holly Neilson from Paper Hands, creating beautiful cards to share holiday cheer. It was a lovely, creative way to spend time together and connect with neighbours.
The spirit of friendly competition was alive and well thanks to Alison, Jim, and Francis, who organized a fun-filled croquet game in the park. Congratulations to the winning team, “The Leftovers”, who took home the top prize—an afternoon croquet experience at the Windsor Croquet Club!
We also saw some truly outstanding festive fashion, with many residents dressed in their holiday best. The most dazzling angel took home two tickets to the Pink Flamingo Show for her creativity.
Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the importance of building strong connections with those around us. It’s moments like these that truly make Hamilton Reach a vibrant, close-knit community.
Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make this event so memorable. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas filled with love, joy, and cherished moments with family and friends.
