In September, over 70 children aged 5-11 years old and 15 teenagers aged 12-17 years old joined the KRANK School Holiday Program at Brookhaven. The program offered a diverse range of fun, active, and immersive workshops designed to inspire creativity, teamwork, and learning. Here are some of the key activities:

  • Beeswax Candle Making and Honey Extraction Workshop
Participants had the unique opportunity to extract their own honey from the hive and create personalized beeswax candles to take home. It was a sweet experience both literally and figuratively!
  • Nature Play Activities
Families were invited to engage in imaginative free play with natural materials. Young participants showcased their creativity by building huts, creating water networks, and engaging in nature-based crafts.
  • Learn to Ride
New riders had the chance to master the basics of riding without training wheels on Haven Park’s soft, sloping green space. The afternoon was filled with excitement as both kids and parents celebrated each new milestone.
  • Youth Entrepreneur Business Workshop
Teen participants explored the fundamentals of starting a business, gaining valuable tools and knowledge to help bring their entrepreneurial ideas to life. The future entrepreneurs in the room were certainly inspired and ready to take on the business world!

The KRANK School Holiday Program was a fantastic opportunity for kids and teens to try new activities, build skills, and make lasting memories.
