While we know the rain is crucial for keeping our parks lush, our greenspaces thriving, and all 17,000+ native trees at Brookhaven well-hydrated, we're hoping to put the gumboots and raincoats away this weekend ☂️🌧️ There are playgrounds waiting to be explored, swings ready to be swung, and paths that haven’t been strolled. 🎓📚 Back to school, but not without some fun. As we wrap up the QLD school holidays, we're reflecting on the incredible activities hosted at Brookhaven, all part of Logan City Council's KRANK school holiday program. From beeswax candle making and honey extraction with the amazing Bee One Third - Neighbourhood Honey team to learn to ride sessions, a youth entrepreneur business workshop and nature play with Bush Kindy Teaching, our parks came alive with creativity and excitement 🐝🌿 We can't wait to see what's instore for the next school holidays!
