Welcome to your end of year wrap up

What a year it's been. Filled with a variety of events and initiatives, 2024 was made possible by the incredible collaboration of our residents, Logan City Council, local businesses, and community organisations. It’s been inspiring to see new connections forming, and our young families are coming together stronger than ever before.

This year, we’ve also addressed some important topics around personal and community health and resilience, working together to make Brookhaven a stronger, happier, and more resilient neighbourhood for everyone.

As our community continues to grow, we’re excited to share an update on the construction of the dog park, which is scheduled to open in mid-2025—something to look forward to for all our furry friends and their families.

I hope you all enjoy a relaxing and festive Christmas break, spending quality time with family and friends. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a wonderful start to the new year.

Welcoming our new residents

In late September, we had the pleasure of welcoming our newest residents to Brookhaven to celebrate the settlement of their land.

We loved seeing our residents forming genuine connections with their future neighbours and beginning to feel that true sense of belonging in this beautiful community.

Community Resilience

Like the rest of Queensland, the City of Logan is not immune to the threat of natural disasters such as floods, bushfires, heatwaves and severe weather. We know that as a community we may not be able to prevent disasters or serious events from occurring, however we can prepare our community and enhance our resilience to the adverse impact of any threat through effective pre-planning.
