Shell Cove Construction Update - Ancora Apartments

Welcome to the latest construction update!

We’re pleased to keep you informed about how the project is progressing, give you insights into the construction process and ensure you’re up to date with the development of your new community.

Building B & C​

We are excited to report that the timber-look aluminium blades and balustrades have been installed to Building C allowing the scaffold to be removed to reveal the unique building façade and showing off the building’s timber accents. Despite the roof & external cladding not being 100% complete, the decision to remove the scaffold was essential to progress the ground floor external works.

Building B scaffold removal has also commenced with balustrades being installed progressively. The interiors continue to progress with kitchens & bathrooms nearing completion and light fittings now being installed. Focus over the coming period is to complete balcony waterproofing and paving.

Quality Assurance inspections by Frasers Property are scheduled to commence in each apartment in November. These inspections are an integral part of our commitment to delivering a high-quality building and home that meets industry standards.

Building A

Progress on Building A continues with the first kitchens being installed and flooring commencing to living areas. Bathroom tiling has commenced as Building A shows strong progress over recent weeks. Roof parapet cladding is nearing completion as is the roof plant installation.

Basement and External Works

Basement C is nearly complete and has been cleaned and line marked. Remaining apartment storage cages are being installed. Final pool preparation works are underway following which the initial waterproofing membrane and water test will be completed.

As required by the scaffold drop, the focus over the coming weeks will be to progress the large quantity of ground floor planter beds and landscaping. Internal waterproofing and concrete preparation will occur in the next period.

Additionally, residents will be pleased to hear the new footpath from Shell Cove down to Boollwarroo Parade in Shellharbour Village is now open providing a walkway down to South Beach. New roads and carparks are currently underway and expect to be open to the public from late February 2024.​

Settlement Update

Settlements are anticipated to commence from March 2024 with a staged approach commencing with Buildings B & C followed by Building A.
