Construction has been advancing steadily at The Sands, and significant milestones have been reached.
Below is a summary of the latest progress:
- Homes 3001 – 3006: Completion of services rough-in (Electrical, Gas, Plumbing, Mechanical, NBN) ensuring that all essential utilities are in place. The exterior render and elastomeric paint system have been successfully applied, providing a protective and aesthetically pleasing finish to these homes. Architectural features, including sunshades, feature screens, and balustrades, have also been fully installed on Level 1, enhancing the homes visual appeal and functionality.
- Homes 3004 – 3008: Scaffolding dismantling has commenced, gradually clearing the site as construction progresses. Internal linings and stair installations have been completed, bringing these homes closer to final stages.
- Homes 3007 – 3008: Tiling work has commenced, adding the finishing touch to the interiors. Additionally, all wet areas in these homes have been fully waterproofed and have successfully passed flood testing, ensuring long-term protection against water damage.
- All Homes 3001 – 3008: Firewall inspections by the fire consultant and pre-lining inspections have been successfully completed for all homes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and structural integrity.
