Shell Cove Construction Update - Nautilus Apartments

We’re excited to keep you informed about how the project is progressing, give you insights into the construction process and ensure you’re up to date with the development of your new community.

Now that the Nautilus structure reached significant milestone of “topping out” last month, the final formwork stripping has progressed further. Stripping to Level 5 is expected to be completed in the coming days.

Birds Eye View – Nautilus

The installation of the windows has continued to progress steadily with approx. 50% of windows completed to Level 2, and preparation underway on Level 3.

We are excited to report that the internal fit-out trades are continuing with works on the Ground Floor, having its initial coat of paint applied, while plasterboard sheeting of walls and ceilings progresses on Level 1. On Levels 2 and 3, wall framing of apartments and inter-tenancy walls is nearing completion.

Nautilus Taking Shape

Fantastic progress has been made on the prototype apartment and we anticipate works to be completed around mid-March. The apartment is beginning to take shape with kitchen joinery and stone installed and tiling works competed to the bathrooms.

Prototype apartments play an important role in construction. FPA and Parkview will use the apartment to review the design and quality of the finishes to work towards as construction progresses. This apartment will be used as the benchmark in terms of the finishes, details and quality for which Parkview and their subcontractors can refer to.
