Shell Cove Construction Update - Nautilus Apartments
Slab construction progressing well throughout Nautilus
We are delighted to bring you the latest construction update for your new Nautilus Apartment at The Waterfront, Shell Cove.
Parkview have continued to progress well with Nautilus' structure this month. On Building A, Parkview completed two of three suspended slabs on level 5, and have since commenced installing the precast and formwork needed for the first roof top slab. The Building B roof top garden and gym slab is now complete and works needed for the roof top gym have commenced. Five of six precast lift cores are now complete, allowing the lift installation crews to commence installing the first three lifts in Building A.
Internal apartment works are also advancing nicely and the apartments are really starting to take shape. Rough-in works on level 1 across both buildings are now complete. The facade glazing installation has continued throughout the ground floor apartments, with the internal wall linings to follow shortly after. Wall framing and plumbing works continue on level 2 of both buildings and have started in some areas on level 3.
The selected prototype apartment is also progressing well with the kitchen mock-up almost complete. This will allow both the architect and Frasers to conduct a detailed review to ensure detailing and finishes are correct and as per the specifications. Wall linings and ceilings are also complete thus allowing the team to commence waterproofing in the wet areas.
At this stage, forecasted completion and settlement for Nautilus apartments is Quarter 3, 2023.
