Midtown grand opening
Doors open to Sydney's next great urban neighbourhood
Midtown MacPark, Sydney’s next great urban neighbourhood officially opened its doors to the public on Saturday 17 October. We were very excited to share our vision for Midtown being a masterplan community with a mixture of local pocket parks & playgrounds, cafes, specialty stores, childcare facilities and proposed primary school and community centre with pay-as-you-go gym and pool facilities.
Along with the launch of our sales and display centre was the launch of Darcy Street Project Café, our first local café of Midtown. With a rich history in coffee roasting and amazing fresh food, including a BBQ for the day, it was best to come with an empty stomach.
As the kids made the most of our new playground, the parents and the rest of the crowds were quick to visit our state-of-the-art sales and display centre offering the most interactive and immersive technologies available to experience Midtown. You can take a stroll through Midtown with our 3D interactive walk-through, or capture Midtown with our immersion room with wall-to-wall images and videos.
If you, unfortunately, missed out on all this fun, make sure you are signed up to our Midtown database and social media accounts so you can be part of it all next time.
Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate our opening, and we look forward to bringing the heart and soul back to Macquarie Park with Midtown MacPark.
