Construction
Stage 14
We would like to provide an important update on the progress of Stage 14 at Baldivis Parks, where our team has been working diligently despite challenging weather conditions.
Key Highlights:
Weather-Related Delays in Deep Servicing Works:
Over the past month, our construction team has faced significant difficulties due to heavy and persistent rainfall, which has impacted our deep servicing works. These works are critical to installing the essential underground infrastructure, including water, sewerage, and power services that will support the homes and community facilities in Stage 14. Unfortunately, the unrelenting weather has led to delays on the ground, with waterlogged conditions making it difficult to proceed as planned. The team has worked hard to manage the conditions and keep the project moving forward, but the rain has resulted in a delay of approximately three weeks.
Impact on Key Milestones:
Due to these delays, the timeline for the completion of civil works has shifted. Civil works, which were originally scheduled to be completed before the end of 2024, are now expected to wrap up in early 2025. This includes the completion of road networks, footpaths, and other essential infrastructure. While these delays are unfortunate, we are confident that this adjustment will allow us to deliver Stage 14 with the same high level of quality and attention to detail that our residents expect.
Titles Remain On Track for February 2025:
We are working to ensure that Practical Completion for Stage 14 will be achieved in early 2025. While the delays in civil works will affect some aspects of the project, we are pleased to confirm that the issuing of Titles remains on track for February 2025.
Looking Ahead:
While the recent weather has presented challenges, we are confident that the temporary delay will not significantly impact the overall delivery of Stage 14. Our team is fully committed to completing the necessary civil works as quickly and efficiently as possible, while ensuring that all infrastructure is built to the highest standards.
We look forward to sharing more positive progress in the coming months.
