We are pleased to provide the latest updates on the developments within Stage 11 at Baldivis Parks, where both home construction and parkland development are advancing rapidly.

Key Highlights:
Rapid Progress in Home Construction:
Stage 11 has seen a flurry of construction activity as more and more homes begin to take shape. It’s inspiring to witness the transformation of this area as new homes rise from the ground, reflecting the diverse designs and personal touches that future residents are bringing to the community. This surge in building activity demonstrates the strong demand for homes in Baldivis Parks and is a positive sign of the neighborhood coming to life. We are excited to see these homes nearing completion and to welcome even more families into the community.

Parkland Development:
The parkland within Stage 11 is also progressing well and remains on schedule to be a key feature of the stage. Significant landscaping efforts have taken place, with mulch spread across large areas to help with water retention and soil quality, setting the foundation for a thriving green space. The tree planting, which will form the natural canopy and enhance the overall aesthetic of the park, is almost complete. These trees will contribute to a pleasant environment for residents, providing shade and a natural habitat for local wildlife, while enhancing the overall beauty of the park.

Another important milestone has been the completion of the main footpaths and walkways throughout the park. These pathways will serve as essential connections within the park, providing easy access for residents to explore and enjoy the various amenities. The well-designed network of walkways will not only encourage outdoor activities like walking and jogging but also serve as a space for people to meet and engage, fostering a sense of community. The completion of these footpaths highlights our commitment to creating a pedestrian-friendly environment that promotes a healthy, active lifestyle.

With the parkland nearing completion, only a few finishing touches remain. Over the next month, the remaining works, including the installation of benches, additional landscaping, and the final placement of amenities, will be completed. Once these elements are in place, the park will be fully equipped to serve as a vibrant, welcoming space for residents of all ages to enjoy.

General Construction Update

Stage 11 parkland is well advanced with mulching being applied and trees planting. These will wrap around the periphery of the parkland and provide shelter for all who visit once established.
Stage 14 is currently under construction and due for completion in early 2025.
Stage 15 parkland has had undergrowth cleared and the levelling of the site has commenced.
Works to a new Stage 16 is due to commence in October and will deliver 63 new lots to the community.

Welcome to our September Community Update!

Baldivis has so many opportunities for community involvement. Here we will highlight a couple of local organisations where you can meet the locals and do great things both for each other and for the broader community. Two of the superstar organisations are the Baldivis and Districts Community Men’s Shed and the CWA Baldivis Belles.

 

Baldivis and Districts Community Men’s Shed

Did you know that there are more than 1,200 Men’s Sheds in Australia (more buildings than McDonalds!) Baldivis and Districts Community Men’s Shed was started in the early 1990’s in the interest of improving health and well-being outcomes for participants. By fostering a sense of community among our members, they help to combat social isolation and promote a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

CWA Baldivis Belles

Established on 22nd July 2016, CWA Baldivis Belles is an evening/weekend branch of the Country Women’s Association of WA. They have fun, build friendships, learn new skills and help the community. They are a sensational group of all ages, interests and backgrounds.
