Community Update

As part of our ongoing commitment to community development below is some information that will impact the Baldivis Community Garden located within Baldivis Grove.

Relocation of Baldivis Community Garden: June 2024

After 6 years, the temporary land use arrangement with the Baldivis Community Garden (BCG) is coming to an end in June 2024. The partnership with BCG was initiated in 2018, allowing the group to establish a governance structure and for the broader community to participate in a rewarding volunteer initiative. Our Frasers team is proud of the partnership and ongoing support we’ve been able to provide BCG over this time - which in turn places the committee in a strong position when setting up in their new location.

Why the Relocation?

The space currently occupied by the garden is designated for the next phase of our development. The Baldivis Grove Sales Centre will also be removed at this time.

What to Expect:
  1. New Location: The Baldivis Community Garden is looking for a new home within the Baldivis community. They are working with key stakeholders to source a new site that will suit their needs and ambitions.
  2. Transition Period: Throughout May and early June 2024, we will continue to support BCG to achieve a suitable outcome.
  3. Community Information: The BCG committee are updating members on the changes through their Facebook, website and email communications.

How Can You Help?

Assistance: If you are willing to volunteer your time or expertise during the relocation process, please reach out to BCG directly at baldiviscommunitygarden6171@gmail.com or alternatively our community team at communitywa@frasersproperty.com.au. Your contributions will make a difference.

Final Thoughts

The Baldivis Community Garden has been a testament to the power of community effort, and we have been proud to be a part of that story. We appreciate that change is not easy, but we are pleased that we’ve been able to provide a home for the garden for a much longer duration than originally forecast. Frasers continue to support the BCG team and look forward to celebrating their achievements in their future location.
