Respecting and reconsidering our water use


When it comes to water use, we are committed to understanding our impact in greater detail. We've also set ambitious targets to enable us to rethink our approach to water use and reuse across our whole portfolio.

We have long term goals, plus short term targets that we refresh every two years. For Water, our long term goal is: By 2030, we aim to make water a valuable resource.

Implement water saving recommendations from water audits for our most water intensive investment assets, by 2021

We have conducted water audits on our three most water-intensive assets, and we are working with customers to determine what initiatives to implement.

All new projects to reduce potable water demand by at least 55% using the Green Star benchmark, from 30 September 2020

We have developed a Minimum Water Efficiency Standard for new developments and are tracking our asset's performance to ensure we achieve this target.
