The wait is over, Tree Walk Park is open!
There’s a brand new park in town—and it’s not your average playground. Tree Walk Park at Berwick Waters is officially open, and the whole community is invited to celebrate in style on Saturday, May 3 from 12–3pm.
This isn’t just any park—Tree Walk Park is a Livvi’s Place inclusive playspace, which means it’s been thoughtfully designed so that people of all ages and abilities can enjoy it together.
From a wheelchair-accessible treetop canopy walk to sensory play panels, inclusive slides, and more, this park is all about bringing everyone together for fun and connection.
To mark the official opening, there’s going to be a community party with something for everyone. Expect face painting, roaming dinosaurs, a bubble show, kids' crafts, and a live DJ setting the mood. There’ll be plenty to eat too—popcorn from the new Turrun Primary School, a sausage sizzle thanks to Berwick Rotary, plus donuts, chocolate strawberries, and a coffee cart for the grown-ups.
Come for the dinosaurs, stay for the community vibes—and check out a park that’s setting a n*ew standard for inclusive play in Melbourne.*
Tree Walk Park sits on a generous 1.3 hectares and is packed with features: BBQ shelters, fitness equipment, sports courts, grassy areas for play, and even a fenced dog park. Everything has been designed with inclusion in mind, from accessible picnic tables and toilets to quiet breakout areas for those needing a breather.
It’s part of a wider network of Livvi’s Place parks developed in collaboration with the Touched by Olivia Foundation, whose mission is to make communities more inclusive through play. Sarah Bloom, General Manager Development for Frasers Property Victoria, says it best:
“Helping our residents establish connections is a vital part of what we do… Tree Walk Park will be a space for people to meet, play and feel like they truly belong.”
