Berwick Waters’ 2025 Harmony Day/Neighbour Day
Last Friday, the Berwick Waters community gathered for an unforgettable Harmony/Neighbour Day event at the newly opened Turrun Primary School. The night was filled with delicious food, fun activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect with neighbours.
The highlight of the evening was the Pot Luck Dinner, where residents were encouraged to bring dishes that reflected their culture. The result was a delightful spread of meals from all around the world, allowing everyone to enjoy a rich variety of flavours and traditions while getting to know their neighbours. From small plates to hearty feasts, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Once everyone had their fill, the fun continued with a family-friendly movie night. Guests cosied up with bean bags, blankets and popcorn for a screening of Finding Nemo, a classic that brought smiles to faces of all ages.
The event was a true success, with over 200 residents joining in for an evening full of food, film, and fellowship. We can’t wait for the next event—thanks to all who made it so special!
