Port Coogee Supper at Sunset
Port Coogee turned on the weather to host the first community 'Supper at Sunset' event on Sunday, 23 April.
We were keen to keep it local so we reached out to our local businesses to join the fun. All residents brought their own picnic – but restaurant manager Niko from the Coogee Boathouse surprised everyone with delicious tzatziki bread, meatballs, and paella, while Amir from the new restaurant Amuni personally delivered 250 of the most heavenly Tiramisu along with the biggest smile! Musician Mario provided the perfect soundtrack to a relaxed evening, all with the backdrop of the classic 'showstopper' WA sunset followed by the crescent moon and Venus in perfect alignment. Just wow!
Thanks to all who came along and made the evening so special.
Fun Fact: The cobblestone road took 8 months to complete. The intricacies of the road meant that one crew member could only lay at a rate of 2.5 sqm of cobbles per day!
Residents were invited to take home a cobblestone with a special message from our Customer Care Manager Fiona Johnson as a memento 🙂
