PUBLIC NOTICE / BRADMILL BLVD STAGE 2A CONSTRUCTION

We would like to inform all local residents and visitors to McIvor Reserve of an important update regarding access to McIvor Reserve, which is located adjacent to the Bradmill site. Starting from January 13th 2025, and expected to continue until May 2025, there will be changes in access due to construction of Bradmill Blvd Stage 2A. Please take note of the following key points:

• Access restrictions to McIvor Reserve from Fogarty Avenue: All existing footpath and vehicle access to McIvor Reserve and car park from Fogarty Ave will remain unchanged.
• Car parking availability: Sporting field and car parking access remain unchanged, however informal car parking on the western boundary between the existing trees will not be available during these works.
• Impact to existing trees: 13 x trees whose roots will be impacted by the works are to be replaced during council’s annual planting program following the completion of works.

We understand that these changes may disrupt your usual routines, but they are necessary to ensure the safety and improvement of our local road infrastructure. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to enhance the accessibility and overall experience at McIvor Reserve.
