The Quarry Open Day

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate the launch of Brisbane’s most elevated and celebrated new masterplanned community.

The Quarry was officially launched to the public at our community Open Day on Saturday, July 8. 

After years in the making, the highly anticipated launch attracted over 1,000 locals eager to access this iconic site for the first time in over 50 years. 

Visitors had the opportunity to explore the Rothelowman-designed Sales & Display Centre and see first-hand how we are transforming this iconic pocket of Keperra from a working quarry into a thriving residential community. 

More than 40 per cent of The Quarry community is dedicated to existing bushland, newly curated green space, and exclusive resort-style resident amenities.

We collaborated with several local businesses to provide entertainment for the whole family to enjoy, including live music and delicious food trucks. 

Kids loved the wildlife experience with animal friends from D’Aguilar Mountain Rangers, in addition to face painting, rock painting and seed planting. 

Local artist Holly Neilson from Paper Hands hosted a watercolour workshop, while Rockworx displayed monster machinery currently in action at The Quarry, and Sense of Taste presented a refined wine tasting experience.

Members of our Care and Rewards loyalty program were treated to a VIP experience, enjoying wine and canapes poolside and taking in some of Brisbane’s best views.

At the end of the day, the sunset put on a breathtaking lightshow of its own before the Open Day concluded with a spectacular fireworks display.
