We’re excited to keep you informed about how Port Coogee is progressing, give you insights into the construction process and ensure you’re up to date with the development of this vibrant coastal community and world-class marina.

Construction Progress

Progress on Omeo Edge's landscaping on the Southern Peninsula is moving along nicely, with significant progress being made in March. We're excited to announce that we're on track to open shortly after the Easter Weekend. To ensure the preservation of our garden bed areas, temporary three-strand fencing has been installed, offering protection until they've fully taken root.

Looking ahead, we're currently in the design phase for the next stage of the peninsula's development. This includes plans for a future waterfront park that will overlook the marina. We're about halfway through the design process, and we can't wait to unveil this upcoming addition. It's all part of our ongoing commitment to creating spaces that not only enhance lives but also cultivate a sense of community and belonging.

March 2024 saw a massive weekend of Community Partnerships at Port Coogee!

 

Dinner at Dusk Food Trucks | Coogee Live | 28th Jetty To Jetty Swim

MARCH 8, 9 AND 10, 2024

We just celebrated the biggest weekend on the Port Coogee calendar with THREE massive events in a row!
Friday night was our regular Port Coogee Dinner at Dusk food trucks and music event attracting over 2000 people and food offerings from around the world. This event goes from strength to strength - hey, who doesn't like a sensational sunset with their samosas.

Saturday and Sunday boasted the National Award-winning Coogee Live event spanning from Port Coogee to iconic Coogee beach. Port Coogee were proud sponsors of the event and the activation 'Faces of Community Art mural' spanning 20m! Collaborative community murals have the power to transform neighbourhoods, create a sense of belonging, and are a wonderful way to bring people together, celebrate diversity, and beautify public spaces while conveying meaningful messages through art. Coogee Live had THE MOST successful event in its 4-year history!

On Sunday morning Coogee Beach hosted the 28th Jetty to Jetty swim which continues to go from strength to strength as the most inclusive and enjoyable community swim! The event committee also includes many Port Coogee resident volunteers and another event we are really proud to sponsor!

 

Upcoming dates for the diary

– 12 April 2024  Dinner at Dusk Chieftain Esplanade. And every 2nd Friday up until May
– 19 May 2024  - PCCA Music in the Park + face painters
– 26 May 2024 - Clean up Port Coogee Day + National Volunteers Day
