Stage 8 - Omeo Edge land release

Port Coogee Community and Construction Update - February 2024

Settlements are continuing for this stage.

Landscaping works to the southern peninsula are well and truly underway with completion on program for March 2024.

The southern part of the peninsula features extensive progress in landscaping. Walkways have been constructed, and gym nodes and seating areas with views of the wreck have been installed. Additionally, shade structures have been set up. The inclusion of Cook Island Pine Trees along Napoleon Parade connects this stage with the overall development. Furthermore, Peppermint and Olive trees have recently been planted within this area. Check out some of the progress photos below.

Flame Trees Throughout the Estate

You may have noticed that many of the flame trees throughout Port Coogee are not looking very well. We have been advised by Council that the leaves are being eaten by a caterpillar. Council are managing the eradication of the caterpillars , so as to bring the trees back to life. Any queries, please contact the City of Cockburn.
