Bahrs Scrub Road Closure and Upgrade

• Frasers Property will be undertaking the road upgrade on behalf of Logan City Council and have engaged Golding as the principal contractor to deliver the works.
• During the construction period, the area will be closed to through traffic, with a detour in place as shown. Download the detour map here. 
• Wuraga Road will be the primary detour for residents of Brookhaven, however there will be additional detours for surrounding Bahrs Scrub residents via Buccan Road and Beaudesert Beenleigh Road.
• Signage will be implemented to direct traffic accordingly.

Upon completion, the road upgrade will deliver significant benefits in three key areas:

• Resilience: Improve the resilience of the road network to localised flooding which impairs connectivity for the community.
• Connectivity: Provide access for future residents and the broader community to the new precinct, The Sanctuary, and future parkland through the construction of a roundabout.
• Urbanisation: Provide a more modern, urbanised experience, in line with the ongoing development of Bahrs Scrub, through the widening and reprofiling the road, as well as landscaping of the surrounding area.
