MAC Residences reaches major construction milestone

Frasers Property Australia has hit a major milestone at Midtown MacPark with the topping out of the MAC Residences building, the first in the masterplanned community in Macquarie Park.

The topping out marks the 24-level apartment building, which frames the entrance to Midtown MacPark, reaching its full structural height. Once complete, MAC Residences will include 269 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, two penthouses and a Montessori childcare centre for a minimum of 75 children.

The building is on track to welcome Midtown MacPark’s first residents before the end of this year, just ahead of the Soul Residences building, which is on schedule for completion by the first quarter of 2024.

It’s an important moment for the landmark mixed-use community which will eventually include 3300 dwellings in one of Sydney’s best located neighbourhoods, close to the employment, education and entertainment hub of Macquarie Park and within walking distance of the new Metro station, connecting to the Sydney CBD.

On hand to experience the expansive views from the 24th level for the topping out event were representatives of Frasers Property and joint venture partner Mitsui Fudosan as well as builder Parkview Constructions.
