Stage 16

Great progress in the development of Stage 16 at Baldivis Parks is being made. Civil works contracts have been successfully awarded, marking a key milestone in the delivery of this stage. Construction activities are set to commence in October 2024, with a focused effort to ensure timely and efficient progress.

Key highlights:
Civil works commencement: The appointed contractors will begin civil works in October 2024. This phase will involve essential groundwork, including earthworks, road construction, and the installation of utilities such as water, sewerage, and electricity. Our experienced team will closely monitor the progress to ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Landscaping design: In parallel with the civil works, the landscaping design for the park situated to the south of Stage 16 is currently in development. The landscaping design will be issued for tender in October, with the goal of creating a green space that enhances the overall aesthetic and livability of the area.

Project timeline: We are on track to achieve Practical Completion for Stage 16 by April 2025. This timeline has been carefully planned to ensure that residents can look forward to enjoying their new homes and community amenities as scheduled. Throughout the construction process, we remain committed to minimizing disruptions to the surrounding areas and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders.

The commencement of civil works and the ongoing landscaping design efforts are crucial steps in realising our vision for Baldivis Parks. As we move forward, our team will continue to work diligently to deliver a high-quality, connected community that fosters a strong sense of belonging.

General Construction Update

We are pleased to announce that THREE new parklands will be delivered to the community! Two parks are included as part of Stage 11 and is due for completion in October this year. A major park, which is included as part of Stage 15, will contain a variety of apparatus for the community and is due to be enjoyed by all in early 2025. Stay tuned for more details!

Welcome to our August Community Update! We’ve had a wonderful month of community activities so far and there’s still more to come! Check out what’s on below.

 

Dino-tastic Adventure Baldivis Children’s Forest

Baldivis has everything a family could ask for - including the gem that is Baldivis Children’s Forest! Built for families and children, it offers walk and adventure trails, a barbecue and picnic area, artwork, an amphitheatre and more. They run lots of great events including the Dino-tastic Adventure!

Join them for an exciting Dino-Tastic Adventure! Calling all young paleontologists!

Get ready for an amazing experience with a Dino Dig at Baldivis Children's Forest on 23rd June.

Children aged 4-10 years old are welcome to unearth bones and work as a team to create a new forest dinosaur fossil. They will also have the opportunity to create their very own fossil to bring home.

Pickle Ball anyone?

The Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex is one of the region's newest leisure facilities located at 531 Eighty Road, Baldivis. 
Pickleball is a racket/paddle sport in which two players (singles), or four players (doubles), hit a perforated hollow plastic ball over a net.

Games run on Wednesdays 8.30am - 10.30am and Sundays 4.30pm - 6.30pm throughout the term.
