Construction Update - Aquatic Drive Bridge

Today the road deck planks for the vehicular and pedestrian bridge between The Waterfront Town Centre and the northern residential precincts are being craned into position onto the concrete headstocks and abutment wingwalls.
The bridge connects with the Aquatic Drive road extension, alongside the new Wetland 6, and will provide street frontage to the future Hotel. The bridge will also feature cantilevered pedestrian walkways on both sides, for the enjoyment of outlook to the wetlands to the west and the new boat harbour to the east.
Works are on track for the opening of the world-class Shellharbour Marina this Spring.
