The Waterfront Food and Wine Festival was a huge success

It was a long time coming and a challenging week of wet weather but thankfully the forecast cleared and a wonderful weekend was had by all who turned out to enjoy The Waterfront Food & Wine Festival. 

It was a huge success drawing crowds in the thousands over the two days who came to celebrate and experience the unique style and flavour that the NSW South Coast has to offer. There was a showcase of over 30 food, wine, spirit and beer vendors as well as cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs Adam Liaw, Mark Olive and Gina Ottaway. There was live music, roving entertainers, lantern making workshops, the long-table dining event and a lantern parade and fireworks finale to close out the festivities. 

It's events like these that demonstrate why community building is at the core of what we do. We hope it will be the first of many Food and Wine festivals here at Shell Cove and we'd like to thank everyone involved in helping make this event possible.
