Port Coogee Community Update - April 2025
Welcome to our April Community Update!
Port Coogee Community – ‘Doin’ It for Themselves!’
What a brilliant afternoon it was at this year’s Port Coogee Neighbours Day! Held on March 30 during one of our iconic PC sunsets, this resident-led Music in the Park event was a true celebration of local pride and community connection.
The talented Kristy Louise captivated the crowd with her stunning vocals and piano, while The Godlemans brought their signature energy and fun, getting everyone on their feet. Families soaked up the relaxed vibe—picnicking under the trees, chasing giant bubbles, and enjoying face painting and Easter treats.
A huge thank you to the Port Coogee Community Association events team for putting together such a memorable day. We’re also grateful to Port Coogee Woolworths for their generous prize donation and to the City of Cockburn for their grant support.
It’s wonderful to see what our community can achieve together. Here's to more amazing resident-powered events in the future!
