Rock the Boad Film Festival  

Baldivis Parks has always been a proud supporter of the local community and we have been thrilled to support the ‘homegrown’ Rock the Boat Film Festival again in 2023. Good luck to all the entrants and we are looking forward to the event screenings in October and November..

Fathering Project BBQ

We also sponsored the recent Fathering Project BBQ at Baldivis Primary School; a terrific program designed to build stronger families and communities.

Lantern Market Season is Back!

It's Baldivis Parks Lantern Market season! This includes four themed markets between Oct to March 2024 with the first event occurs on October 27 - the Friday before Halloween from 5-8pm in Daintree Park. These are well attended and a great chance to catch up with your neighbours, grab some dinner and browse local markets. We’d love to see you, so pop along and feel free to arrive spookily dressed!

We have locked in the dates for the season ahead (make sure you add them to your diary!):

- Friday 27 October 2023 - 'Halloween' Lantern Markets,

- Friday 8 December 2023 - 'Christmas in the Village' Lantern Markets

- Friday 23 February 2024 - Celebrate New Zealand - Lantern Markets and Good

- Friday 29 March 2024 - Easter Lantern Markets

Retail News

It is an exciting time at Baldivis Parks with the settlement of the local shopping precinct now having being finalised with the Oreana Property Group.

This land has been purchased by Oreana Property Group with the aim of delivering a small shopping precinct to the community which could include a supermarket, childcare centre and café. The design process has begun which we hope will be finalised by early next year. We will continue to update you on behalf of Oreana Property Group of construction milestones once works commence on site.
