Little Day Out
The sun came out for the first Little Day Out at Baldivis Parks!
On Sunday September 30 2018 over 800 people attended the very first Little Day Out at Baldivis Parks. The day was full of sunshine, families, cubby building, digital treasure hunts, rock painting and flower bands. Many families came from within the Baldivis area and from further a field to celebrate being outdoors in Baldivis.
The Eco Fairies attended providing interactive eco-educational activities for all children to enjoy. The City of Rockingham pop-up library also provided plenty of childrens activities and freebies to giveaway.
The event was held in partnership with the City of Rockingham Libraries, Nature Play WA, Lions Club and Frasers Property Australia. The hotdogs were from the famous Dardanup butcher and cooked to ‘gourmet’ perfection by the Lions team! Coffee and ice-cream were also available for purchase on the day.
