The Easter edition of the Lantern markets saw a great turnout
The Mad Hatter themed Baldivis Parks Lantern Markets was a very colourful event held in the Daintree Park on Good Friday. Balmy weather and the Friday of a long weekend saw a great turnout with an estimated 1200 + in attendance over the 3 hours.
We had the newly chartered Baldivis Rotary (dressed Mad-Hatter style) and the Baldivis Community Garden dressed to impress in their celery costume in a shared stall which proved fun for the kids.
The Easter Bunny himself was escorted by Alice & the Mad Hatter and was also a smash hit with the kids. There was live entertainment and artisan market stalls including delectable cupcakes, coffee van and ice cream along with mad-hatter themed face painting.
The Easter spirit really was alive at Baldivis Parks!
