Community

We have a busy March ahead for our Baldivis Parks community with loads of exciting events and activities on the calendar!

Dates for the Diary!

The Great Separation

Movie Night in the Park! THE GREAT SEPARATION

Date: Saturday March 9

Time: 7pm

Location: Daintree Park

Baldivis Parks residents and friends are invited to a very special movie night in Daintree Street Park! Bring along your picnic dinner and picnic rugs/chairs.

In a world more designed to pull us apart than unite us, what can we do to reconnect to our strong human need to live life together?  There will even be free popcorn!

Short summary of the movie

At age 23, Joey felt so alone and attempted to take his own life. He awoke in the ICU 6 days later to find his right leg had been amputated. This same feeling of isolation and loneliness now effects 1 in 4 Australians. Now fully recovered from the experience, Joey searches for answers as to why it happened to him and how he can stop it happening again. Can we find a way to live together, as united communities, to fight loneliness and reconnect in a world that is designed to pull us apart?

That story has taken shape in the form of The Great Separation, a documentary film by award-winning producer/director, Shannon Swan and made possible through funding from Frasers Property Australia. The film was released publicly on SBS On Demand in October 2023.

Front garden maintenance

Just a reminder that maintenance of the front garden all the way to the verge (including corner lots) is the responsibility of each homeowner to maintain and is a condition of the restrictive covenants as noted in your contract for sale.  This not only enhances the street appeal but can positively impact your property value.

Street trees

A reminder that a street tree is included as part of your landscaping package. It's wonderful to see the trees in some of the more established streets starting to flourish. Below are some of the many benefits of planting a tree:

- Improve air quality
- Reduce surface heat (especially important in our Perth environment)
- Protect your property value
- Aids in storm water management

Please contact your Customer Care Manager Fiona Johnson, if you would like a street tree to be planted on your verge. Email CustomerCareWA@frasersproperty.com.au
