Baldivis Parks Community Update
Please find below the latest community information currently underway in Baldivis Parks.
Community
Let’s build a park! Stage 15 community consultation.
It has been great to hear from the Baldivis Parks Residents about a new park design. The input from our local community has been terrific and we are looking forward to including those ideas in the next design phase!
Also, special thanks to Jac and Sally!
These beautiful Baldivis Parks residents are leading the charge with their community spirit by leading an impromptu cleanup day in Daintree Street Park recently. Now that’s community!
Rock the Boad Film Festival
Baldivis Parks is again proud to sponsor the Rock the Boat Film Festival, which is now screening an exciting ‘short list’ of local filmmakers at Ace Cinemas in Rockingham. Entries categories include Under 60 seconds super short films to ten-minute documentaries. The huge awards ceremony is on November 25th and you can support wonderful event by following the Rock the Boat Facebook page and booking tickets directly here.
Halloween Lantern Markets
Thank you to all the friends and families that popped down to Daintree Street Park for a very spooky evening!
It was great to see so many scary outfits come down to check out the market stalls, food trucks, live music, spooky craft and have a chat with the Frasers Property team too!
We have locked in the dates for the season ahead (make sure you add them to your diary!):
- Friday 8 December 2023 - 'Christmas in the Village' Lantern Markets
- Friday 23 February 2024 - Celebrate New Zealand - Lantern Markets
- Friday 29 March 2024 - Good Friday Easter Lantern Markets
If you are a Baldivis Parks resident, a community group or sporting group and would like to participate please reach out to event organisers Street Hassle events at info@streethassle.com.au.
Grow.Cook.Eat
Our sister estate, Baldivis Grove proudly hosts the Baldivis Community Garden. In partnership with the City of Rockingham, they are running a FREE 6-week program about gardening, cooking and nutrition. The workshops allow residents to selectively participate in the sessions which benefit them most, without missing out on anything important from the previous sessions. For more info and to book, visit their website.
