Community update
Baldivis has so many opportunities for community involvement. Here we will highlight a couple of local organisations where you can meet the locals and do great things both for each other and for the broader community. Two of the superstar organisations are the Baldivis and Districts Community Men’s Shed and the CWA Baldivis Belles.
Baldivis and Districts Community Men’s Shed
Did you know that there are more than 1,200 Men’s Sheds in Australia (more buildings than McDonalds)! Baldivis and Districts Community Men’s Shed was started in the early 1990’s in the interest of improving health and well-being outcomes for participants. By fostering a sense of community among members, they help to combat social isolation and promote a sense of purpose and fulfilment.
