MAC Residences: Important Settlement Update

The team at Frasers Property would like to provide you with a further update on the progress and expected settlement date for MAC Residences.

As you may be aware, the Occupation Certificate for MAC Residences was not received as anticipated earlier this month which has resulted in a delay to the forecast settlement dates. The delay is a result of recent wet weather affecting completion of the physical works and delays in authority administrative approvals processes.

We understand that this delay may cause inconvenience for which we express our sincere apologies. Our team is doing everything within their power to expedite the process, your patience and understanding during this time has been greatly appreciated.

We now expect our building partner to receive the Occupation Certificate in February. With this in mind, the first settlements are now anticipated to commence from late February 2024 and continue throughout March 2024.

This means:

If you have already been invited to inspect your property:

Settlements are anticipated to commence from late February (subject to construction progress and receipt of Occupation Certificate).

If you have not yet been invited to your pre-settlement inspection:

A separate email invitation will be sent to you to book an inspection as soon as we have a confirmed date from the builder, we will then be able to provide further guidance on your settlement timing.

Please note, the first time you will know your actual settlement date will be when we issue the notice to your solicitor as per your contract (approximately 10 business days before settlement is due).

We wish to reiterate that the quality of your property also remains our top priority. The team are working extremely closely with the builder to ensure your home is completed to a high standard.
