Midtown Construction Update - SOUL Residences
Soul Residences
This month has seen some important progress across the site. The lift cores of the towers have now reached level 5-6 and the main structure is at level 1, with the slab poured last week. Formwork installation on level 2 is underway with first pour due this week. The installation of the pre-cast façade panels continues to run successfully and are in place up to level 2. The roof of the loading dock has been poured with the main structure for the loading dock now completed.
With the formwork now stripped to the basement levels, installation of services to basement levels 1 and 2 have commenced. The tower hoist is now fully installed and operating at full capacity, this allows another option for materials to be delivered to specific levels and will help to speed up the installation process in the works to come. The tower crane has been extended to allow for the future elevation of the structure.
We currently anticipate completion of Soul Residences to occur in the first quarter of 2024. This forecast is subject to construction progress, weather delays and receipt of title registration and occupation certificates.
Midtown Site
Elsewhere at Midtown, there is a lot going on! The MAC Residences tower core is up to level 9-10 and growing rapidly. There is a significant amount of civil works progressing through the site including, roads, parking bays, sewers, communication pits and cabling.
We are particularly pleased to see the bridge over Shrimptons Creek begin to emerge. You can see the supporting v-piers in the picture below. This bridge will eventually provide an additional access point and a through-connection between Herring Road and Lyons Park Road.
We will continue to update you every month as construction progresses, but in the meantime, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email ProsperityCareNSW@frasersproperty.com.au or call 13 86 88 or +612 9767 2297.
