Sam Alaaeddin and Amani Jabein
"The community is very diverse”
Moved in: March 2021
This lockdown love story found its fairytale ending in Ed.Square. Sam Alaaeddin and Amani Jabein were in lockdown for the first two years of their marriage and struggled to work from the small space of their concrete jungle apartment in Wolli Creek.
As they both work in the city, it was important to live near public transport but also have more green spaces to enjoy and explore.
"When we came here we were a lot happier.” Sam says. “When you wake up and you see the sky instead of buildings and hearing traffic, it keeps you at peace.”
The second lockdown was much more manageable from their first release townhome and they have enjoyed getting to know Ed.’s diverse community.
